"The
Rido saddle is really working. I bought one for myself and now three
more: one for bike No.2, one for the girlfriend and one for the
flatmate. We are all very pleased." Dr R.K, Gwalchmai, Anglesey, UK
"I
have recently completed Lands End to John O'Groats, I spent £80 on a
Brooks saddle thinking it would help with comfort and avoid numbness in
a sensitive area. But after the five days I spent cycling I was in
agony. Since then I have been testing a few saddles. Many expensive
do help in comfort. But I came across a Rido saddle on another forum.
Dont base your opinion on looks. I swear that this cycle solves all
sensitive problems. I have tested it on a 150 mile round trip around
the dales, and although it took 20 minutes to get use to it is by far
the best." 'rmware', posted on http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=307899
"I purchased the (Rido) saddle for my wife. She is a "casual" cyclist, but she is very happy with the saddle." J.G, Macedon, Victoria, Australia
"I've just replaced the Brooks leather saddle that I've ridden on for the last 40 years (and is still in A1 condition) with a RIDO saddle........ Enough said !!" G.B, Saltburn-by-Sea, Yorkshire, UK
"Okay,
I know this sounds like I'm somehow part of some kind of conspiracy,
but I actually bought one of these Rido seats. I received it about 10
days ago, and I've put it through it's paces. The thing actually
works. I have some prostate issues (mildly enlarged though I'm just
under 40). Anyhow, my urologist suggested I stop riding or figure out a
new seat. Got this one, and presto, it's better. It does take some
getting used to (it's got a bit of grip to it, but nothing horrible). If you're having discomfort, it's worth a look. Honestly." 'bikegummo', posted on http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=307899
"This is my second order for two of your saddles. Great product. Well done!!!" A.A, Hadley Wood, Hertfordshire, UK
"Saddle is great! Used for day rides & commuting. Excellent product.... own two!" B.C, Grimsby, N.E Lincolnshire, UK
"I
have been very happy with the Rido saddle. It does not cause any
numbness or discomfort....a vast improvement on previous saddles!" P.D, Skegness, Lincolnshire, UK
"Bought
the RIDO saddle for my time trialling bike because I’d got pretty numb
on 100’s and 12 hours. I’d switched to using my road racing bike for
longer time trials last season because it absorbs road shock a lot
better but I still found that I was suffering from numbness.
Furthermore, 50 miles of staying on the tri-bars was distinctly
unpleasant. This year I’ve ridden two 100’s on my time trial bike
fitted with the RIDO – both PB’s! No numbness and able to stay on the
tri-bars all the time. So I’m very pleased with the saddle and as a
result I’m going to ride my time trial bike in tomorrow’s 12-hour. Mind you I’ve also recorded my first sub-hour 25 on the RIDO so it’s not hurt my short distance performance either!" N.Q, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK
"I
have now ridden several hundred miles using the new Rido saddle on my
steel lightweight. I have not experienced numbness or any other
problems associated with the racing style saddles I have used
previously. The new saddle does help to relocate pressure to my
'sit bones', which feel less vulnerable to pressure. This creates more
resistance when pedalling and reduces the need to de-weight the saddle
when riding bumps. Happy so far!" T.L, Brighton, East Sussex, UK
"The
black RIDO is excellent. It is on my road bike and I can do 80 miles
and still be comfortable at the end. I am trying to get club members to
invest, but they think it is too wide, but I am not going to change
mine!! Many thanks." C.W, Spalding, Lincolnshire, UK
"Did
60 miles, with a couple of minor hills - no problems. Mainly road based
cycling. I ride a tandem trike with my wife and also have a fixed and a
Rholoff geared bike that I use. Been having trouble with saddles for a
while - amazed at the pressure relief in the centre of the Rido saddle
- even with the logo right where it shouldn't be! I fitted this
saddle to our tandem and am amazed how good it is for what appears to
be a plastic moulding, although it is obvious that a lot of care has
gone into the design of this saddle. My latest order is for
saddles for two of my other bikes and after trying these I will more
than likely have to order yet one more so that I have the same saddle
on all my bikes! My wife encouraged me to try a 'glow' one just in case
it is more comfortable than my blue one, so I have ordered one to try.
My previous saddles were Terrys and prior to those, Avocets - neither
of which spread the load and reduced all pressure away from the central
area like Rido does!" D.B, Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset, UK
""I
purchased one of your saddles last week and after trying it out, I find
it a great help in relieving discomfort in the crouch and prostate
areas. I was recommended by the Prostate Cancer Research and through my
local CTC to try one out.It was great yesterday on a 46 mile trip I
made into the Peak District." C.D, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK
"I
like the saddle a great deal! I am a once a week, 50 year old rider,
but the saddle is a great improvement over anything else I have tried
before!" G.G, Edmond, Oklahoma, USA
"I
got my first Rido saddle from you nearly a year ago. I live in Ealing,
West London, and use my bike as a means of transport rather than using
a car, so most journeys are under an hour's duration. Two or three
times a year I go on long leisure rides in the country, just recently
for three days in the Derbyshire Dales. On all these journeys I
have found the Rido saddle comfortable. With previous saddles I used to
experience slight soreness after about thirty miles, but not at all
with Rido either during or after a ride. For this reason I bought a
second Rido saddle in May this year for use on my bike on the Isle of
Mull, Argyll, and used it on several long rides with the same good
experience." G.M, Isle of Mull, Argyll, Scotland
"My Rido saddle is great!.... in fact I now own 2. Will you be making any other colours besides black and blue?" A.C, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, UK
"No
problems to report.... I think the (RIDO) product is great value for
money. I commute to work twice a week (12 miles each way) and find it
very comfortable." C.P, Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire, UK
"Really
excellent (RIDO) saddle! I use it (my bike) for fitness or general
getting about on holiday. I have a sensitive prostate and it worked a
treat!" Maj.D.C, Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK
"All
the reports back from the people who purchased them (RIDO saddles)
locally, say they are excellent, a completley diffirent ride! Two
of my cycle friends and myself regularly cycle 50 miles on a Tuesday
and Thursday with no discomfort at all. Very good indeed." C.D, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK
"Just
done two long trips with the saddle on my 27 year old Muddy Fox.
Hadrian's Way out - Wallsend to Ravenglass - and return via the C2C.
310 miles in five days. Still the same standard of armchair comfort
even though the bike has no suspension and a lot of it was off road.
One bit very interesting along the beach in front of Sellafield. Trip
two , four days later, North Shields - Derby about 230 miles. Awful
weather and poor company with a lot of water hitting the saddle during
our frequent breaks. Once again no problems- at least with the saddle. I
think I have now run five Ridos and have recommended the product to
many others. Can we have the new one available with optional titanium
rails?" D.P, Southampton, Hampshire, UK
