"I am very happy with the Rido. It definitely lifts the prostate region up and off of the saddle." J.Q, Fairfield, Connecticut, USA
"Dad
is really pleased with the saddle I ordered for him for Christmas. He's
73, rides daily and thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread! I've
now ordered one for myself!" UPDATE: "Regularly use mine,
averaging 100 leisure miles per week, and find it very comfortable!
Will be riding from Lands End to Northampton (350 miles-ish) in a
month's time doing 50 per day, and have no rear end worries at all! Get
some more colours in, they will certainly sell. Many thanks." P.T, Northampton, Northamptonshire, UK
"I
initially purchased the first Rido saddle for my Marin San Anselmo
hybrid. I ride for pleasure/fitness/turbo and try to do 3 or 4 sessions
a week of between 10 and 25 miles. The saddle has been perfect. No discomfort at all! The original saddle became uncomfortable after about 40 mins. I
have just bought a Trek 1400 road bike and immediately replaced the
saddle with one of yours. I would recommend them to anybody and have
done so through the Cycling Plus forums. Thank you." P.H, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, UK
"Received my first Rido several weeks ago and all I can say is, 'Thank you!' Unquestionably,
this is the most comfortable saddle I have ever used on my road
bicycle. The very reasonable price only adds to the enjoyment. I
immediately ordered a second Rido which now sits atop another bike. A wonderful, innovative product... I believe you'll sell a million of them!" A.F, Jackson, New Jersey, USA
"I
want to tell you how much I appreciate the RIDO saddle on several
levels. I just had a total hip replacement on 8/9/05 (7 weeks ago) and
was concerned about how my old saddle would accommodate my rear end. I
started cycling again about one week before receiving my RIDO saddle
and I am extremely excited about the difference. In addition to feeling
great I have totally eliminated the numbness (in my private area!) that
I have experienced for years. It's gone!!! I am also glad to
report that I acclimated to the RIDO saddle on my very first ride. In
fact I was almost giddy about riding with the RIDO and wish to help you
spread the gospel. If you wish to include my unsolicited endorsement in
any of your promotional materials I would be honored. Again, thanks for everything (including the speedy delivery)." M.L, Tamarac, Florida, USA

"Rido
seat caught my attention as a very competent saddle. Initial feel seems
positive and tail bone rest on plenty of cushioning due to ergonomic
design.
Picked
up my son from tuition today at Choa Chu Kang and we rode back to my
home at Jurong Kechil, about 8 easy km. A bit too short a ride to
really test the saddle but its comfy enough.
Helps too that the design and color is quite catchy. There is a yellow/blue combination that suits a Yellow CM very well." Oldies on Foldies"", http://stridasingapore.com/forum/index.php?topic=867.0
"I've
been very impressed with my new saddle. I've had a few rides of up to
about three hours at a time (leisure fitness) and have been pleased
that I've been very comfortable. All the best." A.v.G, Reading, Berkshire, UK
"I
cycle to work (approx 8 miles each way) and was suffering with the
usual sore bottom syndrome. My colleague Sam leant me her "glow in the
dark" saddle which I tried for a week. I was not sure how much of a
difference it was making until I went back to my old saddle and then
boy did I realise just how much better your saddles were! I have
since recommended your site to my cycling friends and told them of my
experiences: in fact since using my black Rido saddle I have not
suffered with my troubles at all. I have told them that if there is
ever any doubt about your saddles, they just need to resort back to
their old one and they will fully appreciate the ergonimics of your
design. Keep up the good work!!!!" Ms L.N, Addlestone, Surrey, UK
"I
find the Rido saddle very comfortable and easily adjusted. I can
position myself on my sit bones much more easily and the scoop in the
nose makes riding much more confortable...... no numbness!! I am
currently a member of the San Diego Bicycle Club and typically ride 3-4
times a week on the trainer, 1 to 1-1/2 hours each session, and 50-125
miles on the roads at weekends. I am considering the RIDO as my primary
saddle for my road bike, but the weight is just a pinch high (although
I think weight is a little overrated)." A.G, San Diego, California, USA
"I've
been using a Rido saddle on my touring bike for the past six months and
I absolutly love it. I recomend it to every cyclist I see. About a
month ago I purchased my dream bike: an Airborne Zeppelin. The first
thing I did after taking it out for a spin was order another Rido. Last
week I completed my first century ride: 100 miles on the Rido felt more
comfortable than 10 miles on any other saddle I've ever tried. Keep up the good work. A very satisfied customer!" S.C, Braintree, Essex, UK
"Got
the Rido just before the NYC Century ride, a leisurely, guided,
sponsored ride through the 5 boroughs of NYC, enjoyed for the past 15
years by 5-7,000 riders. I'm a leisure fitness cyclist planning on
doing some day touring as well. I've found it (Rido) very
comfortable and quickly gotten used to. When I brought it to my cycle
shop, the pros and mechanics all snickered and said that I'd have a
sore butt because it was so hard! In fact, I don't feel the hardness at all!" J.O, New York City, USA
"My
Rido saddle is fitted onto my Dahon folding bike, replacing a more
expensive gel saddle. While knowing that correct adjustment of a saddle
and the right clothing makes a very big difference to rider comfort,
getting the right saddle can also be tricky. At little over a "tenner"
I decided it was worth the trouble and if the reports of better
perineal health were correct then definitely good insurance too! The
folding bike has a lightweight aluminium frame, an upright position and
20" wheels, so you do feel the road a bit more than on other bikes. The
lack of any padding (on the Rido) did seem a bit strange, but I've
realised that firmer saddles are definitely better on longer rides. My
first ride with the new (Rido) saddle was a 22 mile round trip into
Newcastle along the C2C track and roads. I definitely felt more
comfortable at the end; no rubbing, less sweat build-up and no
soreness. Great product at a great price. I will certainly recommend others to try!" D.B, Rowlands Gill, Tyne & Wear, UK
"After initial trial, have now equipped my fleet of 3 bikes. Can now do 70k rides without going numb,.... well done!" A.S, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, UK
"Saint John,... thanks for the miracle! I can now enjoy riding longer distances again thanks to the Rido. I
have always equated comfort with softness, so bought a saddle as wide
as a battleship , double springed, with a foam cover to give it that
lounge chair feel. It was comfortable enough, but after a longer ride
would still feel sore in the crotch area. I put the Rido on last night,
but when I looked at it, wondered how something so firm could be
comfortable. There was absolutely no cushioning, so started out full of
trepidation.... And then the miracle! My crotch comes nowhere near
the nose, it feels like I am riding high. I could even put a finger
between the space. Absolutely no pain at all. Another thing, I was
pleasantly surprised when riding uphill. Because of the position, I
could shoot up much easier than before. I definitely noticed
improvement in ease of pedaling. Once again, thanks for bringing me back to cycling!"
UPDATE:
"Just to let you know that the saddle is still going great. I bought a
new Dahon folding bike and was worried that the upright position might
not suit the Rido - but, it is even better, if that's possible! I just
finished a 60 kms ride and felt no unease at all. I do not have any
suspension and, to be honest, all those people who want seat suspension
or any other form of suspension should save the money and buy a Rido. I
can even dispense with those uncomfortable padded bike shorts... the
Rido is enough. I am not a young, seasoned cyclist. I am 50 years
old and need comfort to keep me riding. Thanks again for such a
wonderful product!" Dr W.C, Kani-shi, Gifu-ken, Japan
"Saddle is working great - helps with my prostatitis! Thank you!" A.K, South West London, UK
"I
received my Rido saddle on Friday afternoon as promised and I thought I
would give it a go straight away. I rode 25 hard miles (hills too) on
it and the Rido saddle does exactly what it says!! I still had a sore
a*** but I wasn't sore anywhere else and that's all that matters. My
love life will not suffer because of this clever idea! I don't
cycle all the time because I like to swim and jog too, but I will enjoy
using my bike from now on instead of dreading it. Thank You!" C.M, Liverpool, Merseyside, UK
"The saddle I just bought was the second one - I now have them on both my bikes. I
have been cycling for nearly 3 years and had have had problems in
finding a saddle that was comfortable on long distance rides. Last year
I tore a disc in my lower back and no saddle could prevent searing
backache inside of 30 miles. Earlier this year, I saw the review and
award of the Rido saddle on the Road Cycling Newsletter, and thought at
£11 ( +P&P) it would be worth a try. I knew it was great
within the first mile, and have done over 3000 miles on it this year
including a weekend of climbs in the Pyrenees and the Etape. I've also
done hours of turbo training with no numbness at all! Not only is the
saddle comfortable, but it has almost magically cured my backache on
the bike - (except for very long mountain climbs - where everyone
suffers!) This is a great product and all my cycling friends now own at least one! I am totally converted and will use nothing else!" M.H, Dorking, Surrey, UK
"Seriously
impressed, ordered Monday – delivered Wednesday, fitted the seat –
short ride that day - then did 100km on Sunday with no problems
whatsoever. Just come back from holiday and can’t wait to get back in the saddle !!" S.D.S, Atherton, Manchester, UK
"I
can only answer for one of the saddles, because the other one is being
used my daughter, and she doesn’t do too many miles. It took me a long
time to convince her that a mattress saddle was not the way to comfort,
so I am pleased with a little progress. From my own point of view,
suffice to say that I am absolutely delighted! I am returning to
cycling after a lay off that has been far too long, and in order to
ease myself back in, I am riding an MTB and using the local cycle-ways
and canal tow-paths. This at least avoids the hills and allows me to
'hawk my pork' over a distance of about 16 to 18 miles about 5 days a
week. The Rido saddle has proven to be most comfortable and I would
guess one of the best buys that I have ever made." P.W, Wirral, Cheshire, UK
"I
purchased two Rido saddles and have found them to be excellent. I have
been promoting them to other riders in my group and several have asked
for your web link to order saddles for themselves. So far I have
found the saddle to be extremely comfortable (I have a box full of
other saddles that I have tried and discarded) and I am looking forward
to the longer rides that our group participates in (400 to 500km in 24
hours). Our normal training rides are three nights per week (30 to 40
km / night). (I found your product test in RBR rider, an email book that I receive weekly from the USA)." D.F, Horsham, Victoria, Australia
"I
use my saddle for road cycling - serious training / club run standard.
I am pleased with it as it has removed the numbness I experienced with
my old saddle. +4 hour rides are not a problem with this saddle. A great design that seems to work well." S.H, Dronfield, Derbyshire, UK
