just received my first Rido saddle from you today and took it out for a
spin. The minute I sat on the bike I knew right away something was very
different from all the numerous other saddles I have tried and been

the friends I have had who loved bicycling and then quit for "Various
Reasons", (which) if truth be told, all relates to not having a saddle
that one can sit on without discomfort or pain. That to me is the
reason most people stop riding.
There are really great bikes out there to be had and the missing ingredient is your wonderful saddle! "

(Rido) is beautiful in its simplicity and comfort. My test machine had
new moustache handlebars as well as the saddle. After a few minutes of
getting used to the bars, I REMEMBERED the saddle. It had provided no
sensation to make its presence known.

just spent a three week holiday in Holland, most of the time riding.
Used the saddle for the first time and travelled in excess of
250miles!! I am very pleased with the performance of the saddle, giving
far superior comfort over others I have used. Great value and comes
well recommended. Most of the riding was on paved cycle tracks for
which Holland is renowed but I also ventured onto some off-road
sections where again the saddle performed well.

set the limit for how long I could ride my bike. Now it is the lungs
and the legs, just like it should be!
(Pre-Rido) saddle contact
used to be painful; in particular I was developing prostate pain. Then
I found RIDO by Googling prostate pain or something similar. Now I can
ride literally for hours without even noticing the saddle!
I am
biking just for fun and for fitness: about 50 km or two hours per ride.
Now the winter season has arrived in Sweden and I plan to keep in shape

just completed 3500 miles in nine weeks in the USA. Most days about 80,
some 100's. The bike was left outside over the whole period. My Rido,
already with 1000 miles on it, performed impeccably.

"I
don't care to think how much cash I have wasted on saddles that turned
out to be less than comfortable. I had all the usual numbing and
chafing problems, but saddles that (sort of) cured the one usually
exacerbated the other. Then I developed coccyx (tail-bone) pain -
probably from an old injury when I slipped down the stairs when
papering the stairwell years ago - on top of occasional perineum
sensitivity, probably related to old-man's prostate (I'm 52) and I had
to do something about the saddle. I commute to work by bike - 13 miles
of mixed town and country - on a racer in summer or drop-bar tourer in
winter and didn't want to give up; Saving the planet after all!
I
tried various saddles with grooves and fortunately was (mostly) able to
return them for a refund. Eventually after some web-browsing I came
across the Rido and read the testimonials. They looked genuine, and at
only £14 it seemed worth a try. The rationale of perching on the
sit-bones to save crushing the delicate structures of the perineal area
seemed so obvious I couldn't believe that isn't what all saddle makers
are aiming for; but the Y-shape looked like it would take pressure off
the tail-bone too (bit like coccyx-cushions which have a cut-away at
the rear).
It works!! I would not now try a different saddle
unless designed along similar lines. The tail-bone is much better and
the other more 'standard' saddle problems cured also.
With darker
evenings, I was forced to do a couple of days on the tourer with its
original saddle since the racer has no lights. No good. Had to use the
car until a second Rido arrived!!

saddle is wonderful! I use it on my road bike for leisure/fitness and
have put close to 500 miles on it so far, with absolutely no complaints
whatsoever.
It is really quite amazing. I don’t know how it works,
or why it works, but I guess what’s really important is just that it
works... period.
I don’t think I even really need to wear cycling
shorts with a shammy anymore. There’s no point. I think the saddle
makes cycling shorts obsolete.
You are a genius! The only
suggestion I would even consider making is to perhaps add some
additional colors (an all-black version would be my pick), but that’s
just cosmetic tinkering. Your design really is amazingly ingenious, and
has saved my groin area from the pain of other saddles. Another
suggestion might be to let customers have the option to pay extra for
expedited shipping (when I ordered it, I would have gladly paid extra
to get it as quickly as possible!)
But, in terms of the saddle,
itself, it does exactly what you say it does and I am completely happy
with it. I don’t know what would possibly make me ever ride a different
saddle, so I think you’ll be getting additional orders from me, that
is, if my current one ever wears out or gets damaged.

(1) "Yours is the third saddle I have tried and 'boy' am I glad I found you!
I
read about your saddle in Cycling Plus a year or so ago in a major
saddle test. Since then I have had problems in the perineal area,
exacerbated by saddles which were too soft and were pushing up between
the cheeks. I knew I needed a hard saddle with two "bumps" for my sit
bones to rest on to keep the pressure off.
I had been considering
the Specialized Body Geometry range, as they looked to have what I
needed, when I suddenly remembered your saddle and decided to give it a
go as yours was the lowest price and I was getting tired of spending
ever increasing amounts of cash on saddles that turned to be no good
for me.
I am very pleased to say the saddle is exactly what I
needed! I use it for leisure fitness riding (average time in the saddle
of two hours). I have the RIDO saddle on a Giant Hyde Park hybrid bike
and would furthermore not hesitate to fit another to an audax bike
which I hope to buy one day soon.
Keep making the saddles!!!"

"I'm really happy with my saddle. I did write once before saying I
thought it may benefit from being stiffer and you replied saying it was
specially designed to flex under load. In hindsight and with further
use I see what you mean and would'nt change the saddle in any way.
I
ride for leisure and fitness, each ride now lasting for 2 - 3 hours.
Before I fitted your saddle the most my bottom could take was an hour.
